Expert Answers about Marine Speakers

  • Can Cover on 6" Diameter Furrion Marine Speaker be Removed
  • The cover for the Furrion Marine Speaker # FMS5B isn't actually able to be removed. I reached out to my contact at Furrion who confirmed this for me. If you're having issues with this speaker then I'd first check the wiring connections and then possibly swapping this with another speaker that does work just to confirm whether the wiring or the speaker needs to be replaced.

There are only two connections which use plug-in spade terminals so the swap should be super easy and you can just reuse your existing hardware.

  • Correct Wiring for Replacing Outdoor Speakers
  • According to the user manual for your Pyle Speakers, each of your Pyle speakers should have four connection points, two of them run to your audio receiver/amplifier, and the other two run to a 12V power source. We do have an exact replacement for the Jensen speakers you were using previously, # MS5006WR. These should wire up to the existing wiring on your RV, so you wouldn't have to change any of your wiring. Check out the video linked below for more details.
